In-Person Guidance For Licensed Professionals

Each lesson has related services that are further broken down in detail.  Each service includes the service names and descriptions, abbreviations, price ranges, performance times, as well as specific tips for each service.  These service sections will also include images of hair patterns and removals that correspond with step by step written guidance on how to perform each service, that you will be able to take with you after our session together to reference from.

To schedule an in-person lesson with me, please contact me through phone or email, so we can find a time that works for us both as well as a model.

The price for our one on one lesson includes the use of my treatment room, supplies, model and booklet for you to keep, as well as ongoing email communication.

When working at my shop space, I will ask for a photo or copy of your current esthetician license, as well as a copy of your liability insurance to be able to work on a model. If you are an employee and do not have your own insurance coverage, we can still work together at my shop, but we won’t be able to practice on a model at my place of business. I would be happy to consider meeting you at your place of work if you would like my assistance with waxing in person. There is still much to discuss even without using a model - so please don’t hesitate to reach out for a lesson even if you don’t have your own personal liability insurance. I made my written lessons very visual so that it can be used and referenced and understood even without using a model.

    Bikini lesson includes : Basic Bikini, Extended Bikini, Brazilian, Sphinx, Mini Sphinx & Tail Feathers.

    Legs lesson includes : Lower Legs, Upper Thighs, Full Legs, Feet & Toes.

  • $300 / 2 hours

    Chest lesson includes : Chest & Shoulders.

  • $300 / 2 hours

    Back lesson includes : Back, Shoulders & Nape.

  • $200 / 1 hour

    If you would like to meet in person, and talk about questions and concerns about waxing, and don't need time with a model this is a great option. It will still include the use of my treatment room, supplies, booklet on which service you are interested in as well as ongoing email communication.

    *This is the only option I offer at my shop, if you are an employee at another location and don't have personal liability insurance coverage that extends to my shop space. If you would still like me to help assist you in person with a model, I may be able to visit you at your place of business - so please feel free to ask.

Waxing is very visual.  You are removing hairs on a person’s body - you see the hairs, and then they are gone.  I wanted to create written material with images that help show you all the details there are within a wax service.  I break down each service simply so that by reading this and offering a step by step process, you will feel confident performing each service as if I am standing next to you, showing you in person what to do next.  I designed this training material as a tool you may use to study with out of the treatment room, but also something you can use in the treatment room as a reference to help guide you through your services.

Waxing, to me, is an art form.  It is, in its own unique way, another artistic outlet for me.  There is so much precision and care to detail that goes into body waxing, that for me is so fun!  I feel blessed to be able to share my artistic passion into what I do through waxing.

I love being able to care for people through waxing.  To help others feel good and more confident and beautiful about themselves through my services is an honor.  I get to help people feel the best version of themselves, while also sharing a sacred and calm space with them where they get to relax and feel cared for.  Waxing offers immediate results and I love getting to see their enjoyment through the results of my services.

I have enjoyed focusing on one service - body waxing - for all these years.  Getting so familiar with the act of waxing, and the process of it has been so fun.  Just as I enjoy opening up my box of colored pencils before I begin an art project, I equally enjoy the textile aspects of the act of waxing.  Twirling the stick in my hand, dipping it into the wax, spreading the wax onto the skin, and removing it with that sweet sound of a good pull.  No two bodies are the same and no two brows are identical - every body offers its own unique characteristic to work with, so I have never felt bored of offering the same service for all these years.  In fact, I think I have grown to love it even more!

I would love to help other estheticians feel more confident with their waxing skills.  I hope that through this book I can offer something new to the industry and grow into a more educational role as a teacher.  I see a need for some new information that can help simplify and explain in better detail how to move through a wax service, and I want to share what I know with others in the industry to help them feel more at ease and more confident with waxing.

Services of the Male Brazilian, Nostrils and Ears • Layers of the skin, skin diseases • Health and Safety protocols per state regulations

This book is an extension to what you have already learned in school.  Therefore, I will not be going into the details of the anatomy of the skin or skin medical conditions.  Please contact the state board where you are licensed for more knowledge on what you are able to perform, and any additional questions relating to your education.
